Balakot is 34 kilometers away from Shogran. From Shogran, you can travel by horseback, or walk to several stunning sites, including Siri, Paye, and Makra Peak. Anyone who loves taking a stroll and relaxing under a tree near a stream or lake while surrounded by different tones of green will be drawn to the beauty of Shogran Valley. Planning a trip to Naran Kaghan without including a stop at Lake Saif ul Malook is impossible. Because Lake Saif ul Malook is the primary attraction of Naran Kaghan excursions. Saif Ul Malook Lake is about 20 kilometers from the lovely Naran Valley and is situated at an elevation of 3,224 meters (10,499 feet) under the shadow of the mighty Malika Parbat hill. Day 1 will begin with our esteemed visitors being picked up in Islamabad before we go to Neelum Valley via Muzaffarabad. Before arriving at the quiet Kutton/Keran by dusk, we’ll stop briefly at the Dhani Waterfalls, Kundal Shahi Waterfalls, and Athmuqam along the road. Arrive at our cozy hotel and settle in for a well-earned night’s sleep.
In Neelum Valley, Day 2 promises to be a day of discovery. We’ll set out on a lengthy journey to the Upper Neelum Valley after a delicious breakfast. Sharda will be our first stop, where we will see the mesmerizing natural beauty of the Sharada River Area and the ancient Sharada Peeth Ruins. As the day progresses, we’ll make our way back to Kutton/Keran, stopping at the landmarks we missed earlier, and spending the evening in our comfortable quarters.
On Day 3, we continue the journey as we move closer to Shogran. We’ll stop at the beautiful waterfalls in Muzaffarabad, Balakot, and Kewai along the trip. After an amazing jeep trip from Kewai Waterfalls, we’ll arrive in Shogran and check into our hotel for a relaxing stay.
On Day 4, we take a jeep trip from Shogran to the magnificent Siri Paye Meadows, which should be a treat for nature enthusiasts. During our trip, take in the meadows’ captivating splendor before going deeper into Shogran Valley. We’ll turn in for the evening in our motel in Shogran.
Day 5 will be spent traveling to Naran with brief pauses at beautiful spots along the way. We’ll have another thrilling 4X4 jeep journey to the beautiful Lake Saif-ul-Malook once we arrive in Naran. Spend some time at the lake before making your way back to Naran for a relaxing overnight stay.
On Day 6, be ready for an exciting journey as we go to the towering Babusar Pass. We’ll make pit stops along the journey at stunning locations like Batakundi, Jhalkand, Besal, and the captivating Lulusar Lake. We’ll head back to our hotel for a nice night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing.
After a filling breakfast on our last day, we’ll set out for Balakot. We’ll next go back toward Islamabad, stopping briefly at places we missed earlier, and bid farewell to the end of this fantastic journey by sunset. We will part ways with our hearts full of priceless memories.
